About UP and Out Travel

That’s me in the pink shirt! And my partner in the gold shirt. We’re on our 5th cruise together in 2022 and first on Royal Caribbean. I have been a world traveler since 16 when I took my first international trip. I love all kinds of travel from cruises, to plane trips around the world, to weekend road trips. And I want to share that sense of adventure by helping you plan a wonderful trip. Travel should be as stress-free and hassle-free as possible. Let me make it that way for you.

I started my travel agent business in 2023 after joining Once Upon a Trip Travel as an independent agent. I have been growing as a travel professional ever since. UP and Out Travel is my unique brand to connect my location in the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan with also helping LGBT+ travelers.

  • I do not charge planning or consultation fees! If for any reason you decide not to book a trip through me, I would greatly appreciate knowing how I can earn your business.

  • Travel agents earn a commission from the companies they book your travel with. Some agents may also charge planning and consultation fees.

  • Have travel insurance! Check with your credit card company - many offer travel protection benefits when you pay for travel with it. But it may not over comprehensive or high-limit coverage you need depending on your trip. There are many reputable independent travel insurance companies and quote comparison websites. It may also be offered as an add-on feature to a trip through the travel provider.
